About this experience

I am a professional portrait and fashion illustrator who specializes in drawing live at events, acting as a fly-on-the-wall observer and circulating around the party doing candid sketches of your guests that they will take home as a memento of the event.

I bring my sketchbook into the heart of your party and turn your guests into art — live, in the moment, and without the need to pose. Think of it as sketch journalism meets party entertainment: I wander, I draw, and before you know it, someone is holding a portrait of themselves that captures their personality and the spirit of the night.

I typically create 6–7 portraits an hour.

Weekdays are available on an hourly rate with a two hour minimum, and weekends are a flat rate of $2300 for up to 4 hours with the option to add additional prorated hours.

What's Included

• Live candid portraits sketched on-site during your event
• 6–7 portraits completed per hour
• Original drawings for guests to take home as keepsakes
• All materials provided (sketchbook, pens, paper)
• Flexible roaming setup — no need for guests to sit and pose
• Mr. Kieren typically draws 6-7 sketches an hour on 5.5 x 8.5 inch watercolor paper, which fits exactly in a 6 x 9 envelope.
• The artist is extremely portable and requires no tech/set-up.
• Customization/branding of the paper and/or envelopes available upon request. Prices vary.
• For larger events, Mr. Kieren does work with several very talented colleagues in illustration if your event could benefit from more than one candid, roving sketch artist.
