In this provocative and stylish lecture, architect and urban researcher Dr. Daphna Levine takes us on a visual and intellectual tour through the streets of New York City—where fashion, architecture, and sensuality collide. Drawing from her acclaimed erotic fashion shopping tours, Daphna explores how alternative fashion movements—fetish wear, punk aesthetics, vintage lingerie, and DIY style—mirror the architectural landscape of the city.

From the elegant facades of Uptown townhouses to the raw industrial textures of the Lower East Side, we’ll examine iconic buildings and hidden corners that reflect the same desires, tensions, and transformations found in clothing. This is a journey into how bodies, clothes, and buildings shape identity and space—boldly, intimately, and unapologetically.
